A Foundation of Compassion and Presence
Over the years Bracken had the privilege of working in a variety of settings—including Texas Children’s Hospital, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, nonprofits supporting families of terminally ill children, shelters for women and children affected by violence, and a comprehensive homeless transformation campus. Each experience strengthened her commitment to being present with people in their most vulnerable moments—not to fix them, but to sit with them in their pain and help them feel less alone.
After years of study and practice, Bracken earned her LPC credential and continues to grow through specialized training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR, interpersonal neurobiology, somatic therapy, and polyvagal theory. Her practice also involves story work, experiential therapy, and grounding strategies to support nervous system regulation.
Personal experiences, along with years of engaging in individual, couples, and group therapy, have inspired a deep commitment to creating a space where clients feel safe, valued, and genuinely understood—without judgment or expectation.
Meet Bracken
When Bracken is not in session, she loves baking, hiking, fishing, and spending time with her husband of more than 25 years, their three children, and close friends. Bracken’s favorite word in any language is HOPE, because it reminds her that even in the darkest moments, there is the promise of light.
